Russian mining giant Nornickel is facing major logistical problems but alternative routes have been found for it to secure the delivery of palladium, Vladimir Potanin, the company's largest shareholder, told Russia's RBC television on Saturday.
"But customers are not very receptive to this new alternative route," he said in an interview with RBC. "Many are even considering cancelling contracts."
He said The company, the world's largest producer of palladium and refined nickel, was not yet considering moving from traditional markets to new ones, but did have plans.
